LPA12 Threaded / LPA15 Welded Floating Soft-Seated Ball Valve with reduced bore, pressure-assisted soft-seat sealing, blowout-proof stem, anti-static device, and low-torque quarter-turn operation, delivering bubble-tight shutoff and compact, leak-free isolation for general industrial piping.

Product Description

This threaded floating soft-seated ball valve provides reliable on/off isolation for liquids, gases, and light media in compact piping systems. The floating ball shifts axially under line pressure, pressing against the downstream resilient seat ring to form a self-energizing seal that tightens with increasing differential pressure, ensuring bubble-tight shutoff per API 598 / EN 12266-1 Rate A.

Soft seats are available in PTFE, reinforced PTFE, PEEK, Nylon, and POM, covering temperatures from −29 °C to +260 °C. 

Body construction is one-piece, two-piece, or three-piece in carbon steel (WCB) or stainless steel (CF8 / CF8M). End connections include threaded (NPT / BSPT / BSP per ASME B1.20.1, ISO 7/1, ISO 228) and welded (socket weld per ASME B16.11, butt weld per ASME B16.25, or orbital weld) configurations. Sizes range from DN 8 (¼″) to DN 100 (4″), with reduced-bore design as standard for compact installation and cost efficiency.

The stem is blowout-proof and sealed with PTFE packing and an O-ring secondary seal. An anti-static device maintains ball-to-body electrical continuity. An ISO 5211 top pad accepts direct-coupled actuators or manual levers. Every valve is tested: shell test at 1.5 × PN and seat test at 1.1 × PN.

  • Three-piece body option – Allows in-line seat and ball replacement without breaking pipe connections.
  • ISO 5211 actuator mounting – Standardized top pad accepts pneumatic or electric quarter-turn operators.
  • 100 % factory tested – Hydrostatic shell and seat tests per API 598; material certificates available.
